1. What we use
CareCircle uses only first-party cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in, remember your theme preference, and support offline sync. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
2. Authentication
Supabase Auth stores session information in sessionStorage while you use the app. Sessions are not persisted to localStorage or persistent cookies, so closing the browser tab removes the session.
3. Preferences and notices
We store your light/dark theme preference, accessibility settings, and PHI-banner dismissals in local storage so your choices survive page reloads.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and site data through your browser settings. If you block all cookies, authentication and offline sync may not work correctly.
This cookie policy is an MVP starting point. Review it with qualified legal counsel before launching in regulated markets.
